Default 3 season room

Hi Lampworketc,

I wanted to get a second opinion about closing in my screen porch, for a vinyl porch enclosure.

Something similar to eze-breeze windows.

Right now the porch is my only place to work, and its been dipping down in the 30's in Memphis. If this keeps up I won't be able to work at all.

It would also be nice to keep the pollen out for the summer.

Sounds wonderful.
The question I have is if you are going to that kind of expense how much more would it take to make it an un-heated 4 season porch?
I guess the difference would be how well the room holds on the heat that you generate.
I assume that just keeping the wind out would warm it up a lot but then you have to account for make up air for the torch ventilation.
I think infra-red heating might make it very usable even with a window open for make up air since IR heats objects not air.

I have a window right in front of my torch that I crack open so the makeup air come in that window, mixes with the torch fumes and goes right up the vent fan above. I just made sure that the exhaust for the vent fan was more that 10 feet away from the in-let for the window.
