Default peacock bead

was thinking that i would like to see some of my early beads and whammo, one showed up in the hands of an early customer who wanted MORE of them. She said i called it a Peacock bead. does this look familiar to anyone and does anyone remember how it is made? i probably had a tut, this was at least 3 years ago. any help will be appreciated.

Just a guess...light ivory base, light turquoise dots, raku dots and dark turquoise eye? I can never remember how I made something either, unless I made a boatload of them.

Aye, and shift the center of each succeeding color just a smidgeon.

Maybe you will have to rediscover it and this time take notes.

I know. I can't keep track even if you paid me!

just did ivory, turquoise, light multi (dark multi on other versions) got nice results but noT the bead in question. i was hoping somebody would recognize the bead and the word peacock and say, yeah! i remember that tut, it was by blah blah in the blah blah. oh well, i was holding out for santa claus and the easter bunny too. will do the drill with raku, which usually doesn't like me. i cooked the snot out of the multi's, chilled them on a really cold piece of brass a couple of times. nice results but not THE BEAD.

THERE IS AN EASTER BUNNY, SANTA AND RAKU. the secret ingredient was Raku. yayayay. it creates the concentric multi-colored circles. PHEW. interesting that 3+ years later i am way more in control of the banding and dot thing. progress, slow and steady. again thanks for all the interest and help
