"Just a marble" Bernard says. Dude if I could figure out how to do those type of implosions I would be in heaven. By the way did I mention how beautiful it is!!!

So far Sept. is shaping up to be a very nice showcase, everyone does such fantastic work!!

Now if I can only find time to get back to my torch, it's been a month since I've been able to torch due to unforeseen circumstances and I swear I'm having serious withdraws!!

Everyone! wow, what wonderful work your sharing, inspiring too!
Lonerp..if that's your first bead? You've got quite a venture in boro ahead of you! It is great. Bernard...phtf!lol..I think it is so crisp, clean and well executed that it is more than "just a marble"!
Below is a starfish from me, and a ghost flower marble front/back made by my son after watching Tim Keysers cd...thanks for the excellent instruction Tim!

I dig this one. The back is awesome. I like the front too but the back is so sea-monstery and creature from the black lagoony, you could have just used that look for the whole piece and it would still be awesome. Ever thought of going for a fossil-like look? Trilobites on a pipe...or even trilobite pipes! (Hmmm...I may try that if I ever become a piper)
