Default Cabashon question

I just started using my cabashon mandrels and I wondered if anyone can tell me what technique they use to get the bead release off the back of the cab. Mine is very stuck!

I've used black wet/dry sandpaper. Somebody makes (or used to) a flat diamond wheel for dremel, but I forget who.

You can also put a few drops of water and some fine silicon carbide on a small sheet of window glass and rub away. It leaves a nice, smooth surface. It will work more slowly without the silicon carbide-just glass and water.

I don't buy them from here, just a handy link, but a good price too
There's flat ones too.

Excellent suggestions! Thank you! I started with my thumbnail just scraping it off...filed down my nail pretty quick!

A cheap knife sharpening stone in a tray of water will give you a good flat surface on the back.
