I like it. These are really iridescent but of course I can't take a pic of that. I made a twist of elektra and I think some silver rattan and IB and it's on s. rattan, reduced with the yellow candles about an inch or so long and rolled it about an inch from the end of that. Maybe 2 times, cooling in between.

Ok. Someone clue me in as to what you are talking about. It is lovely but I've never heard of it. (Out of the loop lately.)

It's the newest color from Double Helix. It's supposed to produce some reds, right? (Mine hasn't gotten here yet.)

I've never got any reds out of it, those are cool. Is your bobcat on propane? My mini is on NG, I can't get it to work with the wildcat and propane, just get yuck. Debbie, I did notice that it will over reduce pretty easily (for me anyway). Sometimes I can get it to go away by returning to a neutral flame, cooling and just flashing through the redux again but not always.

Here's a set of Elektra experiments, all on different bases & encased...
They're also posted on another thread, so I'm sorry if you're seeing them twice

Debbie,
I wrote a long answer to a similar question near the end of the thread on silver beads last week. Maybe that'll help. In short, I got great results, including the red by striping it on cobalt, and swirling it a couple of turns and alternating several times between reducing and high oxy.
