Hi, this is just a small picture of raised dots used with the BE luster. This is the amber luster (on amber). I use a HH (no laughing please) and I really like the way these lusters reduce, they are smooth and not all sooty like reduction frit can be (ie streaky and burnt looking). They reduce really easily and look great.

Cass, beautiful beads, that first set. WOW!

Here is a necklace with a base of black, copper-green lustre (not reduced) and uranium lustre dots. I think those are my two favorite lustres, but I do love the blue lustre and the amber lustre and the brown luster and the.......
well, I guess I love them all.

Oh, such lovely colors! Is there any change in the reduction after annealing? I've heard of some reduction glass (which?) that "greys up" during annealing (solved by annealing some activated charcoal with the beads).

I'm so tempted by BE!

Pam, not only are those STUNNING beads, that is a beautiful photo. Well done!

You guys won't catch me laughing at HHs: I've done some fab vessels on a Hot Head. Shane Fero also does some work on a HH, as does Fred Birkhill. I was just talking to Fred last week and we talked about the HH. He's a HUGE fan!

Thanks Lara! And Tink...thanks for the HH support! I'm loud and noisy in life....makes sense that my torch is too! I'll be testing that statement about vessels on a HH after your class!

Hi Tink, I can't take credit for the photo, it was done by Jerry Anthony at the Gathering. He does great work, doesn't he. I do however take credit for the beads and thanks to all who commented.

Kalera sells it at http://www.bridgetownglass.com

I can't wait to get more glass, practice and gain control. My dots suck, big time....
