Default How to value complete setup for sale?

Hi All,

I've collected a ton of tools, glass (including dichro, rare and discontinued), concentrator, tanks, etc. over the years. But have realized I just won't use it, as I am really more focused on my fusing.

I want to sell the whole lot, but have no idea how to value the setup. I'm in the SF Bay Area, and am not interested in shipping, especially the tanks.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Cheryl

Is rough but you can value pieces based on completed eBay listings.
Also cross referance with shops for your marvers and other specialty tools.

If you have time it may be easier to list smaller lots.
60# or more of glass can get expencive for most of us.

Tanks and o2 concintrators are dificult to ship, but move fairly easy if somone local can use them for studio or fab shop.

Is there an ISGB chapter there? Make a list, send it and ask if anyone is interested, and let them make you an offer. They might could split it up among themselves, or may know a new lampworker looking for a setup. I think often it is hard for a person to swallow the whole expense at one time, so you may do better splitting it up.
