Identify Orange please?
Help?
I have never bought orange glass. But I got some of this in a buyout from someone else and it's not labelled. Def 104coe, but other than that no idea.
It has a opaque outer and clear inside with an opaque central core. Non-striking it works up to a nice rich swirly semi transparent orange.
Now I want more.
Anyone know what it is?

And does anyone know how to make the pic appear?

It may be CiM Clockwork Orange, but it looks more like Vetrofond's #791961 Carrot Red Sparkle oddlot from about six years ago. I picked up a quarter or half pound from lbsupply.com years ago.

Vetrofond Arancio Perfecto. I have that same batch. The one before it was awesome as it only struck in a few places.

I can't do the same with the batch you have.

It could be three that I see. Orange transparent, arancio perfecto or like Cheri said....carrot sparkle. If the out color is sparkly (just a tad) and maybe a rough surface, that would be it. But Vetrofond Orange Transparent and the AP have the same look to it.

After Reenie's posting, I had to go check out my stash. It could be the Arancio Perfecto. Look at this photo of the carrot and AP. The AP is paler, but they both have the layering. If you determine it is the Carrot oddlot, there is some still for sale at http://flametreeglass.com/index.php?...roducts_id=841.

Well I can tell you what it's not.
For a start it's old. Pre-CIM so not Clockwork (though that's looking like a good substitute)
It's probably not Carrot sparkle. Not sparkly and I have a rod of that from the same destash and they are very different.
Consensus from Oz girls is probably Vetro or Effetre Orange, but being so old they look a bit different.
I can get some arancio perfecto here, so I'll try some of that, some Clockwork and some Effetre Orange. One of them will have to do.

Striking Orange 072 is my guess.
It's not Orange African Daisy but that also works up as a swirly orange and clear.

Yep... used it yesterday for some GATOR beads!!! With 2 kids at University of Florida (orange and blue) I use it a lot. You will not have an easy time finding it..... beautiful color if you want orange.
