Default Momka Lustrious Blue consistency?

A while back, I purchased some Momka Lustrious Blue from a distributor. I received a couple of rods that were similar to what I already had that look very similar to the paddle on the Momka site, plus a couple that were darker. At the time, I just assumed that there was a variation in batches, and I didn't question it. But in looking at the colors again, I think that I may have received a couple of rods of Silky Satin blue by mistake. It isn't a huge deal because I will use the color eventually, but I need to order again, and I want to be sure that I get the lighter color that I originally wanted.

So, my question is.... is the Lustrious Blue usually pretty consistent? Or is there often a fairly substantial color variation between batches?

You might want to write and ask, sometimes distributors do grab from the wrong bin by accident, it happens.

But, having said that, I have Magic Mirror on my shelf and I keep the two orders separated because the rods themselves do look different. They act the same, but because visually they're different I keep them separated "just in case"

Yeah, I guess I'll call with my next order, so I can be sure to get the right one. I have other colors that look different in the rod, but seem to work the same, but this one is definitely different when worked, and I don't want more of the darker color.

Thanks.

I love Momka's Lustrious Blue. However, I've noticed that a range of green to dark blue. They seem to be the same coming out of the kiln.
