Default 7 1/2 MAPP & Hot Head....Flame Goes Out

I just got a 7 1/2 lb tank of MAPP gas. Connected everything up OK - I think. Got a nice flame going on the Hot Head, but could tell the flame was very slowly getting smaller (weaker) and smaller. After about 10 minutes the flame went out. Happened twice. Any ideas why?
Tank is now back out in the garage.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

This bothers me...... BULK tank should NOT be in house, it has same dangers as BULK propane.

What Dale said (get the tank OUTSIDE)

and--your tank isn't opening all the way, or it's slipping shut right after it opens--my propane tank had that issue for some weird reason--I'd have to reclose it & re-open it all the way again--sometimes twice to get it to open properly--then my torch would be fine--sticky valve I guess. Shrug. (i think it had something to do with the weather & it being a brand new tank--after a couple uses it was fine)

I had trouble a few times and it turned out I was just getting quicker at setting up and lighting the torch, it went away when I got set up , HH off, turn on Gas then wait a few minutes until the pressure builds up in the hose before lighting the torch.
