Default Sculpting Faces with wool - tutorial will be ready soon

Several people have requested that I create a tutorial on sculpting/felting faces with wool after seeing some of my projects. I've been working on it day and night and it should be ready really soon.

I'm editing now. I've taken great care in giving a lot of detail without going overboard with nonessentials.
I think, for those who want to try their hand at felting faces, this will be a good tool for you. I've put a lot of detail in the process I use and I've been really pleased with how mine have developed as a finished project.

I will announce when it's ready for purchase and list it's availability in my signature line to my Etsy store.
Thanks so much to all who have shown so much interest and requested that I create this tutorial. I think you'll really enjoy learning to sculpt with wool.

This is the Project I've done for the DVD
"Old Woman"

Here's one of my Sculpted people in wool after teaching myself sculpting for only two weeks.
Here's the old man in progress.

Sandy, your old man's face is incredible -- you've really captured a realism that I've seldom seen in felting!

Congratulations, you're one talented gal!

Thank you for the kind word Fishy!!
What kind of felting are you doing? I'm truly enjoying this medium. It's so relaxing and creative at the same time and it seems the imagination using wool and felt is limitless! How long have you been felting?

I just picked up felting a couple weeks ago and I sure have taken a huge liking to it. There's a lot of things I can't do or haven't tried yet, but there is nothing I won't at least TRY! LOL. Thank you Sweetie! *blushing*

Thanks Lea.. You know, I found out that I have a harder time felting cartoon like faces than I do with the more realistic faces. You'd think it would be the other way around, huh? LOL.. Don't ask.. My DH already tells me I'm wired backwards.. hahaha!

The DVD is finished. I'm just burning DVD's now so I will be listing the DVD on my Etsy for sure This weekend.. Yippie! I'm so glad it's over.. Making the DVD isn't bad, it's the editing and creating the DVD on the computer that kills me. Gives me headaches looking at the computer that long! LOL Eye strain I guess.. but the hard part is over. *sigh*!

A few people asked if I would also create a tut for the body, (Wire and the soft body). I think I will do that in a PDF tut as an accompaniment to the DVD at an adjusted cost.
I'll create both bodies in one PDF..

My DVD "Felting Faces" is going up on Etsy this afternoon.. It's a 2 disk set and I'm selling the set for $35.00.
I'm working on a PDF for both the wire and the soft body, all in one PDF file and I'll let you know when it's ready as well.
I can't wait to see some face sculpting photo's from y'all.!!!

Sandy: when you get going...you are definately on a roll!!!!

Those faces are way too cute and they should do really well.

Congrats on your newfound creative outlet
