Very Cool Marcel. I used to work on Digital 3D dental x-ray systems and the gold skull reminds me of one of the scans
as seen below

Amazing how much better the colors come out with tanked vs oxycons.

not when you use them in a high pressure system
And that's a wonderful idea, firekissed, it's awesome that you made your own flowers and each others' rings, everything looks great, I especially like the bat ring!

Yup. Theres no free lunch. As soon as you can work in a truly oxidizing flame, the colors start to look like the examples in the catalogs.

The trick with oxycons is to work extra oxidizing, it really helps with the colors. You have to lower your flow rate from the max on the oxycon also to up the purity. Accordingly, however, you have to work smaller.
In my experience, if you're getting 10LPM from 2 8LPM machines, and have the fuel turned down until it's pretty oxidizing, you'll be limited to about 1"-1.5" in size as a practical maximum, particularly if you want to get the best possible color. There's a lot of variables, of course, but I found that if a flame looked like it's a decent oxidizing flame, it was probably actually on the reducing side of neutral. Try working a bit further out as well.

I"m late to the party as usual
My shed is up where it's "supposed" to be, and finally after what...2 1/2 months and moving, I'm back in the swing of things again.
Here is my take on Mary's dragon tutorial.
Off mandrel, on a solid egg.
ETA; it's not really lopsided like in the photo..just a funky angle
