Default Boro Gallery – Nov. 8

These are some pendants I have made. I am really proud of these. It has taken many tries to get them to this point where I will show them.

Do you use a regular bracelet mandrel for your bracelets or one of those fancy graphite ones? I have tried, using my steel bracelet mandrel, but I am having trouble getting enough heat so I can bend the glass without making it so floppy that I can't control it. Kevin Ogrady makes it look so easy in his video...

Tazz (Juli)... yeah for you! Terrific job on the implosions. Don't you just love making those???

Jeff... I think I may faint (ok, maybe a little melodramatic, bwah!), but seriously, that bracelet ROCKS!

Pipyr, I just love your style and the electroforming really adds a lot of interest and detail to the piece without taking away from the beauty of the glass! Wowza!

Ro, I'm a big fan of sculptural pieces and yours are no acception! Simply lovely!

Very nice work this week, Pipyr your electroforming is way cool.
I've been under the weather and trying to get stuff in at the shop for xmas, so I haven't had much time to make much. I did manage to make a few tops, and some baby turtle pendants.

Oh Andy, the turtles are adorable, but I'm a sucker for those tops.
They're too cool.

Default Boro on a HotHead??

YES!
I wouldn't recommend it all the time, but it is possible!

I made 2 Smiley style hearts. They're tiny but cute!
I made these a while ago. I posted before so you may have seen them already:

At TLD, they're trying to really push the limits of the HotHead. Go Tammy!

Yeah, it does, sort of. In person you can see the gold and silver fuming inside it a lot better. I was in a hurry to get it photographed, so I didn't take a lot of time. I'll try to get better photos later.

I saw that one on Saturday Chad. Definitely better in person. Did you end up with my lighter? I ended up with your beads.
