Default Share your Photoshop tips

I thought it would be nice to share our favorite Photoshop tips/ tricks. When I learned this one, it was a real AHA moment...

If you take photos of objects with straight edges, but they are a little off square (holding the camera crooked or too much wine will cause this...) here's how I fix it.

Click on the ruler tool in the toolbar. Draw a line from one end of the line that needs to be adjusted to the other end.

Now click on Image--rotate canvas---arbitrary. The number in the box will be the correct adjustment. Just click OK and TADA! Back on the level. Now trim the image so the triangular "borders" don't show.

Antbody else have any simple tricks that will amaze me?

Pioneer Woman has great tips on her site, too. She gives away Photoshop from time to time.

There are a number of good books that cover tips/tricks for Photoshop. One author that comes to mind is Scott Kelby author of PhotoShop Killer Tips.
