Torch fuel issue?
I have a 3 week old Little Dragon. Last night when I was torching the flame started shrinking. I checked the propane and it shows 1/2 tank. Is this normal?

What shows half a tank.... Generally tank pressure for propane will stay at same pressure till tank is almost empty the it will drop rapidly...
What size is your tank?...
Only way to be sure how much propane in your tank is either by weight or by finding liquid level in tank (temperature change method).

Ok... Strip may or may not be accurate.... You can verify the accuracy by heating a pan of water and dribbling it down side of tank. Then run your hand down tank and feel for temperature change, at line where temperature changes is level of fuel in tank...
What pressure do you have regulator set at... About 5PSI or more?
Also what is oxygen source?

I have a Airsep concentrator and run my pressure on the propane at 3psi. I will try the warm water. I had not heard of that and will have to put that in my notebook.

Also you may want to up pressure regulator on propane tank... Try running it at 5-6 psi... Regulators are notorious in accurate at really low pressures....

I did the warm water test and only had about 2" in the tank so I switched it out. Increasing the pressure-wow it made such a big difference!
Thank you!
