Omg yes. I still haven't quite mastered that yet LOL I tend to think I have enough rods, yet invariably wind up scrabbling for one more!

Alli, can you tell us approx. the number of rods to make one of the 40mm
and is this one of the presses that we have to get from Germany??

Erm, I always get it wrong Pat LOL it really depends on the width of the rod. I found it took pretty much all of a 12-13 inch long, 10-12mm rod the first time if that helps!

Believe it or not Jaci, its Devardi - Aurora Borealis. One of my fav's; I love the oil slick colors it get (it loves the Hothead). And thanx

Patrick, yes...Perlenpress presses come from Germany. Every once in a while someone coordinates a bulk buy. Personally, I like Zoozii presses better but Perlenpress has some very nice, unusual shapes.
