Default nanogate sealer?

I saw a german lampworker had finished a bead with "nanogate gold" and am wondering what it is...Anyone here know or has used it and what does it do?

curious and not dead yet

I have no actual idea, but am wondering if this is one of those 'after processes' that apply a metallic finish to cold beads. From what I've read, they're extremely toxic.

Maybe it's one of the ceramic nano-coatings that are used in jewelry manufacturing.
