Too cold to torch here still so I have nothing to contribute yet for the S&T, but just wanted to say I love the starfish George -- beautiful!

Thanks for the kind words. Mary - pretty much used a CMOG vid on the method by Steph Sercich who does them in soft. Made the first 2 in 104, forgetting how much I hate those constant 20 second re-heats...lol

Mary, CMOG is Corning Museum of Glass. This may be the video she is talking about.

George, great job with the starfish. I find myself looking for a technique on CMOG and the next thing I know I have spent several hours glued to the videos.

Marcel, the soul catcher is pretty neat. I have never seen one before. Did this orginate from a any certain tribe custom?

No regrets Paula - that was time well spent. CMOG, whether by video or in person, is most inspiring to me.

Really some gorgeous work here -- love it all!! Here's my recent contribution & obsession with fuming gold and silver. My ventilation system got a nice and much needed upgrade yesterday so I'm finally really confident that I'm not sucking a bunch of crap into my lungs. I knew my previous system just wasn't up to snuff so there were definitely some techniques that I avoided because of it! It's a great day and I'm heading out to the torch -- Yay!!
