Tiffany Blue
I have been asked to make a piece the colour of Tiffany blue.
Any suggestions ? Prefer 104 but can be 96 or 90.
Thanks

I think I'd layer a teal transparent over a light blue opaque, if that's an option. Or maybe an aqua transparent over a light green.

Thanks Dusty I was thinking along those lines. The thing is I would like it to be just an opaque as the pieces will be crosses so kinda sculptural in a sense.

CIM mint lozenge http://www.creationismessy.com/color.aspx?id=106
Kryptonite and celedon are in that family too, but much more blue. Posiedon is blue, but not as close as the mint in my opinion.
Good luck!

I did an image search for it, and there are several colors that come up!

Thanks Kandice, I'm wondering if I can do layers when making the crosses. I will be using a press and want it to look tidy of course.
Eileen I did the image search too, aren't there a ton of variations lol.

Maybe make a few sample spacers & show them to her (of the various colors that may be what she is thinking of as the perfect color.)

Good idea Eileen. Cuz as we all know colours often look different from rod to melt.

Hmmm - I'm not sure - I've never made a cross. I would think that if you use the turquoise as the base and press that, then use the pale aqua after, as maybe some stringer work or dots, it might look nice. Give it a try!

Thanks carolinesbeads. Hand mixing is hard lol. But I'm going to check it out.
The Marine looks like a pretty good match.

How about Gaffer Robin's Egg (COE 96)? I use it often and it's a great color.

Thanks Judith. It is a great colour and I have a rod of it. It's a little green though. Do you
find it goes bluer after being melted?
