Default Help with Chili Pepper kiln!

I was trying to make some beads and I fired up the kiln and just when I was about to get started I noticed the kiln was down to 300. so I shut it off and tried again and it ramped up to the correct temperature but then start ramping down. I have it programmed to run for 12 hours before ramping down. why is it doing this? What can I do? What is happening?

Please tell me there's an easy and no cost fix!

It sounds like a controller "issue". Try calling whoever manufactures the controller; they can probably diagnose the problem from the symptoms you described.

Good luck!

Sounds like your relay is bad. The number for Jen Ken is 800-329-5456. They are really nice and will send out parts quickly. I have three kilns and always keep spare relays and elements on hand.
