Transparent peach
Anyone know of a good transparent pale peach? Eff Pink Trasparent looks peach 068 but I wasn't sure if it was since I haven't tried it.

I have some Lauscha Peach and then there's Bullseye Apricot. That might work too

Actually, if you want to see the rods, let me know. Missing Apricot picture and the lauscha pictures are really terrible! Working on that this weekend. "Sigh" lol

I don't know if you have ever tried the Devardi line of glass, but they have a lovely transparent peach glass in a couple of shades. The name is Champagne Rose. They also have a semi opaque peach and an opaque salmon. All of it is $5.99 a pound

The Lauscha rosaline (sp?) looks very peachy. Don't know if it's named that way in english, but the color is fantastic!

The Vetrofond 068 pink I got three or four years ago is pretty peachy.

I made a lovely peach by layering Effetre 008 trans yellow over 068 trans pink and pulling into cane, I used it for the base of these florals.

What Ginny said! Lauscha Peach is Rosaline. We now have it in skinny (6 to 8 mm) sizes too! Looks just like beach glass etched!

Here's the differences. Sorry, no sun out today so I left the lighting alone. Brightening just gives me too much light

The Lauscha Peach is the best! And yes, it's great etched too.

Oh wow Judith that color is nice. I don't think I've used it before. I'll have to go check out my stash to see if I've had it this whole time.

I also recommend the Lauscha Transparent Peach. System 96 Pink Champagne is also really more of a peach - not really pink.

I love Lauscha peach too.
But talking about 068, anybody else noticed how scummy it is, or is it just me? A lot of Effetre transparents (and Vetrofond, too) have so many of those tiny bubbles that they're useless. 068 seems to be one of them.

If your rods have tiny scratches on them, this could be the problem. I use Effetre 068 a lot and very rarely have the tiny bubbles on any of my transparents. I get my supplies from Howaco. Her transparents are clean and scratch-free, and I have been ordering from her for a long time. If scratched rods aren't the problem, then turn down your flame and work cooler. Pinching or winding off the molten tip of a new rod helps too.
