Default electroforming issue

I started electroforming a few days ago.

I first painted a cleaned lentil with a cage of conductive paint, let it dry over night, did not touch it without gloves afterwards and put it into my electroforming bath.

My issue is there is a part with paint that does not get coppered. The lentil is in the middle of the bath and in the middle of the anodes.
I don't have a clue why this part near the lower hole doesn't get electroformed.

Does anybody not what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers
Kathrin

are ALL the painted parts connected to each other and to the electrode? Everything to be coated with copper must be in contact with the electrode.

Try re-positioningthe bead in the solution. And: reposition the bead so the anode touches that part of the paint.

I will try repositioning the contact wire to that part.

And, yes all painted parts are conected to each other with a wide base.

Thanks for your help! I will tell if I could make it work.

cheers
