This has been a great month of showing fantastic stuff. I don't usually post anything as my photos pretty much suck but I had to show this as it is the first one for me and I was really happy with how it turned out. It is about 1 3/4" wide by the same tall.

i dont think I did???????

I had no Idea How to make em, just that my gf and friends wife want em really bad. I have a graphite ring thing and a base just set it in front of me heated a small section of color and wrapped it around the graphite, trying to keep it even thickness, till the two ends connected. then punty to oposite side and detach rods clean up extra glass. If it got out of wak i just slid it down graphite rod to reshape. just worked both sides or more, switching punty around as needed, then put some dots of clear for decoration. they try to get smaller on ya I think. I was pretty happy with them though for my first tries thank you so much for compliment, It made me smile so big!

Is there a better or easier way to make em? I wanna make some that get thicker on the top but stay small on bottom as well.

And I love you Octopus Chrisann !!!!! Its so cool

If that's the results you get with your graphite ring thing, I think I want one

been for ever since I been at the torch and needed to practice some tube work. I never have blown a bead? nothing hollow in the finish, so it was either try or sit on the porch and enjoy a beer.
all went ok till I got to the claw grabbers. I need some serious help in their use. they are suppose to grab correct? I had to bail on the intended finish shape, just couldnt get a good hold on these guys.
I havent annealed them but did enjoy examining them as I sat down for that beer.

Wow, love the colors on the second one. Is that pre-made tubing or a stick stack?

There's some beautiful and inspiring stuff in this showcase.

Here's a little trout sculpture that I'm rather proud of.

Enjoy!
