Default Need a third color

I'm going to spend a day just working with copper green and edp. What third color would you throw in the mix if you were doing this?

I agree with Elizabeth .. Opal Yellow would be a great third color with those two.

My first choice would be opal yellow, second would be rubino.

Rebecca, would you suggest encasing the rubino first?

skip on the rubino, unless you're encasing. edp and rubino in the same bead is an annoying circular loop. Overheat for the edp to undevitrify, lose the colour in your rubino. Heat gently to restore pink colour, devitrify your edp.

No. Dots of rubino on copper green is fun, nice reaction. Dots of copper green on rubino is a bit less fun (for me) but still nice reactions. Add EDP to that mix, such as double dots of either edp/rubino or the other way around on top of opal yellow... yum.
I'm just talking small dots since rubino and edp are spreaders, pushers and reactive.

Black, first came to mind, then ivory, lauscha cocoa.. Mmm
then mosaic green, Sage, avocado, or red copper green, intense black, 008 yellow transparent, . Not really for any specific reaction, just for the colors.

If it were me? Black. It will highlight the copper green and edp - it's always nice ot have a dark neutral background when you have two opposite colors. But then again it depends on whether you are excited by the reactivity of those colors or just the colors themselves. If it's cool reactions you're going for, I echo the suggestion of opal yellow. I wouldn't stick rubino in there with the EDP, though, unless you want to pull your hair out.

Dark silver plum. Or some iris blue frit or stringer if you have some.

Sorry....I haven't had the extra time to play with these colors. As soon as get some in the kiln, I'll be sure and post them. Until then, feel free to post your favorites for inspiration.

Agree. Wasn't visible to the naked eye but definitely when viewed through a macro camera lense.
