Arrow John Kobuki in Maine - Oct 22-23 and Oct 24-25, 2009

Yes, we're having John back to teach and we're sooooo looking forward to it! John is amazing!

John is teaching at only two venues this year, Eugene and here... Playing with Fire! So there ya have it, East Coast and West Coast!

John Kobuki - Floral Marbles
Thurs/Friday Oct 22-23 or Sat/Sun Oct 24-25

$520.00 -- lunches included -- modest mtls. fee TBA

John's weekend class is pretty well full, so we've added Thurs/Fri. --- and there's still room. Check out our website (and see some of John's fantastic work) To sign up, please give us a call. 207-594-7805. Then please download the enrollment form and remit with your payment.

Accommodations: On our website there is general info for area lodging at the 'links" link, but note that The Old Granite Inn, and The Navigator are just across the street from the studio. Both offer a Playing with Fire! student discount (20% off any rate at OGI; and $55/per night)(plus taxes)at the Navigator. Room sharing is possible at both places, so accommodations can be quite affordable.
Update: This just in: The Navigator will be closing for the season on October 13. Their "sister" facility The Tradewinds Inn (a few blocks south of the studio) will honor the same Student discount (or any upgraded room at 15% off the rack rate).

Travel: We have a local airport (RKD) only 3 miles from the studio, and we'll be happy to pick you up. It's a commuter stop from Boston, so some fairly affordable rates can be had. Also, the Concord Trailways Bus stop is adjacent to the studio (at the Ferry Terminal), so that too is an option. By car, we are about 3.5 hours north of Boston.

We have a few openings in the Thurs/Fri Oct 22-23 class. One seat remaining in the weekend class. Call 207-594-7805 to check on enrollment status, and to speak for a seat.

John, we are SO looking forward to having you back to teach!

Hey Dan! It's going to be fun keeping your soda lime from the boro! Definitely looking forward to it!! This spin will add a whole new dimension to it!

We have couple of seats left in what will be two great classes. John doesn't teach all that often throughout the year. Catch him now!

Call and we can fill you in on housing options. Rockland is a comfortable coastal town, and the colors and weather are still wonderfully 'Fall'
