old vs. new effetre apricot
Can someone please confirm with me or correct me?
The older Apricot had more of a yellow with the orange/red running through it while the new stuff is mostly a peach-ish color with a little bit of orange red?
thanks
Duane

*warning* This may not necessarily confirm things, just confuse them more LOL
From what I understand, the original Apricot was yellower, the next was orangier (is that even a word?), and the latest is now more yellower (see Mike's thread from earlier this year: http://lampworketc.com/forums/showth...hlight=apricot ).
In my only experience with Apricot, which is from the latest batch mentioned in the thread above, this bead is half Tequila Sunrise, and half Apricot. And I cannot really tell you which is which; they look so similar:

The bottom row on this chart of mine is from the old batch.

It is not a great photo, but it's old Apricot on the left, Papaya (Orange Apricot) in the middle and new Apricot on the right.
