Come learn the basics of glass blowing at the torch. Working with clear borosilicate tubing, you will learn to pull points and do the necessary prep work. From there you will learn to blow out the three basic bubble shapes from which all vessels are made. Class projects will be small ornaments, shot glasses and small bottles. You start small in the beginning, and later using the same techniques you can work bigger. You will learn flameworking hollow work techniques utilizing furnace glassblowing tools and methodologies.
