Default chevron rod

Is a chevron rod cut into murinni? if not, what is a chevron rod for?

Typically they are cut into larger sections and coldworked into chevron beads.

I don't see why not but the ones I've seen are huge for murrini. Well over an inch in diameter.

As murrini, it would look like a bullseye - concentric circles.

Your machine and the Mini CC are an example of the perfect marriage. You won't have a problem melting lower COE glass with that set-up.
