Default Just Saying

I will admit I took off a few days from cleaning glass to allow me to clean up my mess for a garage sale that was happening in the building behind Frantz Art Glass. But enough for excuses. I will be back cleaning glass next week. And once I have a total weight available I will give those who sent pm's or posted on this thread asking for one will be the first to get a chance to buy one.

Multipule requests may be allowed, just depends on how much I end up with. As far as I know I am looking a USPS Flat Rate. No price yet decided per pound.

The glass for this scrap glass offer will be coming from the building where we break rods all the time. So these rods will be very clean

Default I promised an update and here it is..

While I am still cleaning the two trash cans of scrap glass, I do have an update for those of you who posted on this thread as being interested in purchasing some of Mike’s Scrap Glass.

I am putting together boxes daily. What I am doing is packing glass not from the cutting room where the glass is very dirty, but from the building where we fill orders, where the glass is very clean
.
I will have some boxes for sale soon.

I received over 40 requests for glass and most of them wanted more than one box. I do not have enough glass for everyone. When I know how many boxes I will have, then I will pick those people who requested boxes in the order that they posted.

How many boxes can a buyer buy?
ONE box, approximately 14 pounds.
How long will the glass pieces be? About 3 to 8 inches long.
What kinds of glass will I get? Effetre and a bit of Vetrofond
What will the diameter be? Most rods will be 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7mm and some stringers

Will the glass survive the shipping, can you expect any breakage?
Hard to say since it is broken glass to start with

How did I pack the glass? I have a new package called "Mikes's Glass Rollup"
I lay a strip of bubble wrap on my work area
I take a handful of glass and lay it on the bubble
I roll up the glass in the bubble and place inside the USPS Flat Rate

How much will they cost? $20 per box plus USPS Flat Rate

When will they be ready to ship? When I get finished and am ready to ship, no ETD

How will you be notified and how do I pay and…..? I have not quite figured that out yet,

If you are a customer of ours, paying for your scrap glass will be EASY PEAZY, if you have never ordered from Frantz Art Glass we will make it simple and easy.

I am thinking I will have around 15 boxes.

Satisfaction promised or your glass is free. (but not the shipping)

Mike

I'm thinking that there are way more than 15 boxes requested already, but I'd love to have one if there are any left...

Default Another One in the Box

Today I packed box number 9. I plan on packing number 10 and 11 on Tuesday.

I do plan on trying to get some shipped out by the end of the week. Those of you who are near the top of the list will be hearing from me soon

Default Finished Finished Finished

I have made as many of my scrap assortments as the scrap allowed and I only came up with 10 boxes
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I guess if I had put less glass in a box I would have had 15 boxes.

So now I am making a list according to the date I received a LE PM, a post on this thread or an email sent to me at work.

The first 10 will be emailed as soon as I can finish my list.

For those of you who did not get in on this Scrap Glass, we will have more in the future.

Approximately 13 or more pounds sent in a USPS Flat Rate. Your cost is $20 for the glass and the additional cost of a USPS flat rate box to your home.

This has been a learning experience for me, and I only bled 2 or 3 times
