Come join us for a great 3 day class exploring more boro techniques with Josh Mazet. November 12, 13 & 14th.
Day 1: Tide Pool pendants
Working with small boro twisties and stringers then by adding a “lens” will turn them into pendants. Lots of fun and good exercise using smaller pieces of boro plus backing on the implosions. A good addition to anyone’s boro techniques.

Day 2: Pieces and Parts: making a small boro sculpture
We will be making a small boro sculpture (probably sea weed and a fish on a base) by making each piece individually and then learning how to securely “weld” the pieces together. This class will use several new techniques in order to make all the different shaped pieces and then putting them together so that we will have a complete piece.
Unfortunately we don’t have a picture of this one, sorry.
Day 3: Marbles II
This will be a one day intermediate marble class, that will cover some new marble techniques including Honey Combs and Implosions, also we will cover different decorative options for our marbles.
This will be a excellent follow up for students that take the tidal pool pendant class, as we will also learn to "lens" those types of pendants. With this process, as it sounds, we will learn to add a lens to some of our smaller or flat creations to increase their size and turn them into marbles.

Class fee is $200/day (this does not include lunch). There may be a small glass fee (~$15.00). Call the Craft Guild of Dallas to sign up: 972-490-0303.
