Hi Lori,
Kugler is the clear that I have been using lately. Somewhere I read that there was problems with the consistency of the coe, but I have had no problems at all with cracking.
For me, it does not seem to be fussy. I can work it as long as I want, use it with silver, and I don't have any problems. For the most part, it does not have a lot of scum. Every now and then I run into a bad rod, but I use that up where it is not crucial to have a crystal clear window.
I really like the Kugler clear. It is very dependable. I guess you could say that it is a little stiffer than some of the very soft clears, but nothing that should hinder any techniques that you may want to use it for.
