Default pandora beads

i went online and looked up the size mandrel for Pandora bracelets and it said 5/32 ..i tried a 5/32 rod and it was to small to fit over the threads on the bracelet so i switched to a 3/16 and that seems to work fine. I think the 5/32 would fit on the bracelet part fine but not over the threads.

5/32 worked fine for me on all parts of the bracelet.

I couldn't get the 5/32 over the threads on a Pandora either, though the cored beads went onto a Toll bracelet just great...

I have a pandora bracelet and I use a 5/32" mandrel to make most of my beads. This size will fit but sometimes you might have to clean it a little more and then it will definitely fit. I use a dremel to clean my beads.

LOL, this keeps coming up, and I keep popping in to find an answer that I like better than the last one! Time to bite the bullet and buy a Pandora, so I can find out for myself once and for all... in the meantime, Margriet said 4 or 5mm, and I have seen 4mm listed (on Karen Thomas' site, I think) as the hole size for Pandora. However, I have heard from other LE members that 4mm doesn't quite cut it. I use 4mm SS rivets in mine, and need to know whether I can list them on Etsy as Pandora or just troll beads. In the words of the great Vinnie Barbarino, "I'm sooooo confused!" (I wish there was a smilie that did that classic Barbarino hands on face thing...) If anyone does tests with 4mm and can give me a definite "yes!", I'll love them forever!

Pandora's screw bit is 4.2mm in diameter.

4 mm rivets or tubing ID is definitely won't fit Pandora or Biagi.

The silver core must take up some of the room. So do i have to use a bigger mandrel when I am coring the bead? By the way - anyone want to weigh in on the tool they like best for adding silver cores? I am in the market!!

I will explain it more. I use a 4 mm mandrel and them make the hole bigger with a special tool for it:

I do that because with a 5 mm mandrel 1. the hole gots to big and 2. I find the mandrel to heavy which make my hands hurts.

The best would be mandrels with 4,5 mm, so when you know where I can buy those, let me know!!!!

If you can not use the special tools you can better use the 5 mm. mandrel.

Excuse me for my bad English.
