Marsh Frit Maker
Tired of starting a project just in time to find out you dont have the right color frit? Now for a limited time, Mike will be giving free classes on how to use his latest frit maker. Some experiance is required.

How do you get the glass to stick to the wall while you pound it? I am going to need the tut on this.

LOL!
I found that using my "frit maker" worked better on a horizontal metal surface; the glass was covered with a cloth and I wore safety glasses to keep flying frit out of my eyes.

That was my first ever frit maker too. Now i have upgraded to the latest model. Made by DH.

Funny you should show your "frit maker". I just used mine today on my DH's anvil with a cloth. Worked just as good as the really expensive ones.

I used to make frit with my DH tools and on his work bench too. He got tired of me in his way and making a mess, so he made me my own frit maker. It did not cost more than a good hammer. I even used a rock once.
I think most beginning lamp workers would choose to use things they already have around the house. We would rather spend our money on glass. I enjoy hearing about what other people use.
