Default Magazines Subscription

Hey All

I want to subscribe to a Lampworking magazine, but I’m not sure which one. Right now I only make beads so I was wondering if someone could tell me which magazines they subscribe to, what is generally inside, and why they like it? I found Glass Line and The Flow online, but are there others out there that might suit me as well? Do the magazines usually have tutorials in them?

Thanks for your help!

Tamara

I like the flow for lampwork, and lapidary journal for metalsmithing.

THE FLOW. For sure, my number one choice.

The Annealer is also a nice one.

Glassline is good, also, but I think it tends to be more tecnical.

I prefer Glass Line. I read both Glass Line and The Flow though.

It's tough to say what's going to be in either The Flow or Glass Line from month to month because they get their articles via submissions from folks willing to do them. So some months you get more beads than others, other months you get more non-bead articles. Though if you subscribe to both you'll have stuff to read more often. The Flow only comes out 4 times a year vs. Glass Line's 6(?). As an added benefit with Glass Line you get access to some of their archive, though I heard a rumor The Flow was working on that too, but it doesn't seem as if they've been around as long.

Can anyone give me an idea of what a subscription runs cost-wise? For both The Flow and Glass Line? I will need to adjust my budget...

I think they both were 28.00 a year, but you don't get one every month.
