Wink Etsy

Hello Everyone,

I am browsing through Everyones beautiful listings and I notice that many of You list on Etsy. Is Etsy a nice source to sell Your beautiful creations? My Friend has been creating some beautiful jewelry pieces and We would like to find a nice place to sell our pieces.

Have You had a nice experience with Etsy? Thank You for Your opinion in advance.

Dawn

The only accurate answer I can give is "it depends". Like any other venue, one's success is often in direct relation to what you put into it.

I used to do very well on Etsy, up until maybe October of last year. Then for some reason nothing at all sold for two months, so I gave up on it. I figure I'll try it again later around April-May when people are getting their tax returns...

Well I have an etsy account and an artfire, so far I have sold 5 things on artfire and nothing on etsy. That really doesn't mean anything though! LOL

I agree with the "it depends" answer. My etsy is steady, and my artfire has yet to kick off. Regardless, it is a tough market out there right now.

Etsy used to be OK for me, but it's dead now. I pulled everything and put it on Artfire, which has been OK.
