New to Boro and seeking frit recommendations
So, I bought a boatload of Boro (from another LE-er) and now I have to learn how to use it. I have mostly solid colors including a ton of Parrot Green, Cobalt and Black, plus smaller amounts of red, white, cream, teal, pink, orange, red and, of course, clear. I also have some interesting looking amber-purples and various transparent odds and ends.
I think my next step is to get some frit, and I'd love some recommendations. I have a credit that will allow me to buy three 4 oz. jars - so what would your top three frit choices be? Any maker.
Any and all other advice and wisdom is welcome since I have no clue what I am getting into. So far, I've made 2 spacer beads - just so I could say I did. I'd love to hear how others got started.
Thanks!

First, get clear frit in small, medium, and Large.

Getting started in boro
I, too, just got started in Boro, even though I said I wouldn't because I didn't need to buy anymore types of glass
I bought Mr. Smiley's DVD and it was very helpful and I already made the first pendant and the pendant w/frit. But - I didn't have the Handy Andy tweezers and when I tried to make the "hole" for stringing the pendant it didn't work very well because it went everywhich way w/just using the peter tweezers and tungsten pick.
I also got the "boro recipe" book from www.fineartbyrocio and it has color ideas in it. Also shows what some of the frit looks like after it's melted in.
Good luck, I know I need it. (Because of course now I want a bigger torch!)

Clear frit is the most versatile. Get Medium or large to start. Blue moon is awesome as well, and DAP is great as a third choice.

Well thanks folks, it seems to be unanimous. May have to get more than 3 to get all the sizes. Very interesting. In soft glass I only use size 1, so this will be a change.

I keep forgetting about clear frit. I've got to get some since everyone really seems to like it.
Loch Ness is also nice for adding some sparkle!

I really love aurora fit, medium size, and of course amber/purple. I've never really worked with clear frit, going have to try it out.

I'll have to throw Butterscotch in the hat. That and Bluemoon are probably my favorite.
And I really need to get some clear. If we ever finished moving and back to normal maybe I can finally order some.
