Default Kiln Not Working

I've got a Chili Pepper kiln with digital controller(Orton). It is suppose to be about 1 year old. I bought it second hand and was told it was 6 months old when I bought it.

When I turned it on today, it started clicking like it always does when heating up, but when I went down an hour later it was still at room temp. I shut it off and started it again, still nothing. The heating elements aren't even getting warm. I guess this means my heating elements are bad? Or is there a fuse or something that could be bad? Any suggestions?

Where would I buy a new heating element for this kiln?

Thanks for any help you can give,

Hi Teresa -

It's probably a relay, not the elements. Does the little green light go on when you turn on the power? If so, it's probably a relay. Call Jen-Kiln or Orton and explain what's up, they can ship you a new relay. Putting it in is a 5 minute operation. Get spares, the chili pepper eats up relays like no one's business for some reason.

Hi Sam, thanks for your reply. Yes, my husband tested the element last night and it is working fine, so we narrowed it down to the relays. I wasn't sure where to get them or even which ones to get, I will write to Jen kiln and Orton. Thank you for the suggestion!
