how do I get my magnet to stick?

I've been making some cool boro doodads that I'd like to make into magnets. But I can't seem to find a glue that will stick (and stay stuck) to the glass. Any suggestions? Also, do I need to somehow "rough up" the back of the glass first? If so, how?

Any help here is greatly appreciated

E-6000 will work, that's all I ever use. Get ready though, it stinks really bad until it dries. I make magnets all the time with it. I get my magnets at wall mart, the extra strong ones. They work really well. Also, if you put some frit on the back of your piece, and don't melt it in all the way, leave it bumpy, that makes the bond with the glue even stronger.

I use the E-6000 as well. Try scoring the magnet - I use an exacto knife and just scratch in some hash marks before gluing. You can also use a dremel and scuff up the glass with a diamond bit for more tooth. Clean well before gluing.

You can also just use some sandpaper to rough up the backs.
In a pinch, I've used a nail file .

I use two-part epoxy, works great! Also, check out website "thistothat" for right glue for different purposes. Bookmark it for future reference...

gorilla glue works well too

just dont use too much, as it expands

i have tried a bunch and i found the 2 part epoxy to be the best for me. i do grind the spot where the magnet goes to give the glass some tooth.

i use a 2 part epoxy 5 min speed set on a rough glass surface, Its the only thing i have found that works for me

Both the magnets and epoxy can be found here. I have purchased them from her and was happy with the result.
