Big Sale at Frantz Art Glass
This week I have picked 15 different colors and am offering a 50% discount!
This week we are also releasing three new Effetre colors.
Next week a shipment of CiM Messy Color will be arriving! New colors, restocking of old colors!
The week after next an airfreight from Effetre will have more new colors!
On September 1st we will be receiving a full container of glass from Effetre......with new colors!
About a month after the September 1st shipment we will be receiving a smaller seafreight from Effetre with more new colors!
For those of you who are coming to the BASH, it is going to be another great party.. Speaking of parties, I just returned from ISGB in Miami. My report is that it was a very small turnout compared to previous years, the weather was hot and humid, but being smaller did not take away from how great it was! The only bad thing was I caught some flu and I am not happy!
BASH UPDATE........if you are coming and need a place to sleep, the casino still has rooms reserved for Frantz, but they are being released this Monday. So if you need a room you need to call Little Creek Casino and ask about the Frantz blocked rooms. The hotel is booked up for that weekend so now is your final chance to get a room.

SALE NOW!!
but then we'll be getting this...
and then we'll be getting that...
and after that, you've got something else to look forward to...
Not exactly what I would call a good sales approach if'n you're wanting to create a rush.

Not exactly looking for a rush, just a steady flow. And a steady flow is just what we will be getting in new colors during the next thirty days.
Each week I plan on putting another group of color on sale and while you are buying them at highly discounted prices, you can induge in new colors from Effetre.
Next week a group of different colors at great prices and a new group of new colors from Effetre will be for sale. We will be doing this for the next few weeks.
We do have limits on the new releases, but when the sea freight arrives, most of the new colors will be available with no limits.
By ordering now you can try the colors and decide if you want to invest in more when they become available by the pound verses being sold by the quarter pound or in assortments.
We air freight in the new colors to wet your taste buds!
So instead of a big fury of sales, I would hope that for the next few weeks we can get a steady flow of sales.

Looks like that holding policy will come in handy for a lot of us over the next few weeks....

Yes, I forgot about our holding policy! Now is the time to take advantage of ordering and holding......but not taking possession of new colors and having them just sit at Frantz Art Glass.....is that not torture?

Dear Rachel, that would be a very long drive...at least three hours and possibly four hours round trip each day.
Now if you lived closer, that would be another story.
If you ever move to the Olympia area, please give us your application, we love beadmakers as employees.........but right now we are not hiring.

OH! (be still my heart) ..my mom ('aka' the Queen Mum or 'QM') lives in Olympia..
My favorite aunt.. (also an artist.. a painter :} lives on Kamilche Bay.. how would that work?
Can't leave Seattle for a couple years anyway (till my son finishes 8th grade in the best school I was able to find for him)..
I've just leapt back into the fray and am setting out to establish my business full time as an artist; lampworker (still a bit 'newb') and sculptor/silversmith/metal artisan.. recently got 'put out to pasture' after ten years as a metal fabricator/welder/fitter/teacher due to a permanent industry (occupational hazard).
Right now I'm trying to figure out if I can steal enough time to make it to the Bash. Living on a (tattered.. heh) shoestring right now so can't rent a room. A few years ago (when I was just getting started lampworking and before I had to stop.. lol) you guys used to have a bunch of campsite spots (any room for a van?) set up.. does that still happen?
Everything old is new again!
Thanks for the offer Mike.. I'm gonna make sure you remember me when I end up at Kamilche in a couple/few years and you *are* hiring!

Yes, you can camp, please do not set up before Friday the 21st at 5pm and be out by 6pm Sunday is all we ask.
We will have a porta potty for your personal hygiene needs. No showers, but we can leave the hose outside if you want to hose yourself down. Just leaving the hose in the sun makes for a nice bath.....I know...I have done it before.

Wunnerful..
Also, was thinking on this.. my Aunt lives on Totten Inlet off of the Old Olympic Highway. I'm sure she'd let us stay there.
Isn't that pretty close to you guys? (amazed I still haven't managed to make it down there in person yet but am working on changing that )
No worries about my purrsonal hygiene but I might hose my kid down (just for fun)

Are you hitting a cached copy maybe? try refreshing...
I see this message on a different site that open up:
frantzartglass.com expired on 07/28/2009 and is pending renewal or deletion.

Website goofyness
Hey everybody,
here is the news on our website. It should be up soon. There was an issue with the domain registration. It is getting taken care of right now. We should be back online in a few hours.
Now let me tell you what went wrong. Our domain was about to run out. We didn't know this because the person they were trying to contact isn't here anymore. So no one got the email. If that wasn't bad enough a month or so ago we got a letter from Liberty Names of America telling us we need to pay them to renew or domain name. We did pay them, not knowing that they are not the company we went through and are in fact a scam business. So there we were thinking the domain was paid off not knowing that network solutions was trying to contact us because the domain is expiring.
But everything is under control now. The site will be up in a few hours.
For those of you that have websites and businesses, if you get something from Liberty Names of America you should probably toss it.
Here is a link to some info on it http://www.upwebmaestro.com/example-libertynames.php
I'll post when the site is up.
Sorry for any trouble.
Thanks!
Keith

Funny, the same thing happened to me, my domain name expired in May because I used an e-mail address I don't check very often (why ask why). My choices were to pay a lot of money to "maybe" get it back or wait 90 days until it was returned to the public domain and hope no one else nabbed it before I could re-register it (yeah right, gotta figure elizabethrosebeads would be a long shot). In the meantime, I registered elizabethbeads, moved my site content there and decided I like it better so I am keeping it and changing my business name. I did recently get elizabethrosebeads back and put a redirect to my new site on it. I now have Pappashop managing both of my domains for automatic renewal. Of course I still have to remember to check my e-mail.

Ah- forget the new colors! I need some tried and true Moretti. I haven't torched in six months (didn't want to chance it in the first two trimesters of my pregnancy.) Sat down this weekend to make some Halloween beads and realized I had no orange, pea green or dark transparent purple! Staple colors! I'll soon be stocking up (which for me means 1/4 pounds of each for my little hothead!)
