New lampwork tool
I am making short glass rod holders. See them on Ebay under lampwork tools. The holders are designed to pick up with one hand rod from 3mm to 13mm to fuse to longer rod. See my other tools on Ebay or at www.web-access.net/~tapcraft.
tapcraft@web-access.net. The price is $25.00 plus $1.90 postage.

Here's the picture of the shorts holder
I just bought one and I'll report back once I've had a chance to use it I need to use all my precious nubs of Aether
Also, his lentil tongs ROCK! If you're press-impaired like I am and don't want to spend a fortune on the brass lentil tongs that are out there, his are a very nice, inexpensive alternative. This is the first bead I made with the 1.25" lentil tongs I bought from him... I've made probably 30 of them and it's holding up just fine!
No, I don't work for him, I just like his products and I told him he should come here and promote himself in this section since so many of us are on a budget.

Haha! I bought some lentil tongs from him a while back and I guess I made my way to his mailing list so I got the email yesterday. I told him he should come here and promote the tools in this section
Just email him and give him your paypal email address and he'll send you an invoice tapcraft@web-access.net

Oooo, this looks cool! I'm hoping they become available soon, and if you don't mind me asking, pricing, too? (PM if you'd prefer, Darrell ).
I can think of a few apps for this...I've sort of turned into a murrini-making NUT and I often pull eye cane, etc., that aren't particularly long. These might help me apply those into my murrini gather while building WITHOUT TRASHING MY FINGERTIPS! My nails will thank you...

They are available. I have two designs on Ebay with prices.
Look under Lampwork Tools.
The one that is pictured here is better because it holds all sizes firmly. The other one works fine with one size rod but different sizes throw the jaws out of parallel and the rod wiggles.
I hope one of them meets your needs. I don't plan to make more of the one that wiggles unless someone likes it. It is great for picking up stuff.
If you would like to contact me directly....tapcraft@web-access.net.

Glass rod holder
I am learning how to work this site SLOWLY.
The tools are $25 plus $1.90 postage. You can buy through Ebay or directly. I can send you a paypal invoice if you like.
I plan to make a good number of these believing they will sell.
My lentil and spiral tongs have sold well.
Thanks.
