Default Burning Brass Torch Marvers for Barracuda, Betta, Minnow are done.

Wanted to let everyone know that we've finished the adjustable torch marvers for the Barracuda, Betta and the Minnow.

We've put all of our torch marvers on sale until the end of the September. (Only 8 days)

Get em while they're on sale.

Thank you. Appreciate the order.

I'm working on one more torch. The GTT Mirage. After that, I don't think I'll be adding any more torches. Decided not to do the CC mini as Deb Crowley already has a decent marver for them.

Right now we have brass and graphite marvers for the:

GTT Cricket, Bobcat, Lynx, Scorpion, Cheetah, Phantom
Nortel Minor, Mega Minor
Bethlehem Minnow, Betta, Barracuda

Thanks again.

Jim

Default Word to the wise

when the bill posts on your credit card it may post as "burningbras". For those of us of a certain age you might think you ordered some hippie tie dye gear.

It took me some time to figure out what I'd ordered from Burning Bras. Cracked me up. (This is not the vendors fault at all but my statement just didn't have enough spaces for the full name "burningbrass".)

BTW, I LOVE all my goodies and highly recommend them! (I got the one for the Lynx and two of those skinny brass Stump-like shapers).

I have Burning Brass torch mount marvers for both my Barracuda's and my Phantom. I really love them. The Barracuda marver required Jim to engineer a new post from the base to the torch. I really like what he created. It's a better solution than the original that always seemed a little odd.
Jim also added a custom steady to my marver that gives my stringer hand a place to rest. Once I get unpacked from my Maine teaching gig I will take a couple of pics and post them.
Burning Brass tools are some of the best quality and engineering I have seen. They have a high quality craftsmanship that's not to be beat.
Jim has also created a marver for the new GTT Scorpion and as soon as my Scorpion arrives I will be adding one!

Just wanted to pop back in here and say I could not be happier with my new marver! It's absolutely gorgeous and the directions were super simple to follow. Jim, thanks for a great product!

I have a Burring Brass marver on my Betta, and I love it! It is just what I needed on my torch. Thank you so much, Jim.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone who placed an order for a marver this last week. Been busy.. With the exception of one special order marver, they have all been shipped and are on their way. Thanks much.

Really appreciate the kind words. Always nice to hear.

Also, since I'm a sucker for punishment, I've decided to keep the Torch Marver sale going for three more days. Saturday evening, October 3rd 2009 is now the last day. If you've been sitting on the fence, you've got three more days to get a really great deal on one of our Adjustable Torch Marvers.

This sale is on all of our Torch Marvers, not just the marvers for the Bethlehem torches.

Adjustable Graphite and/or Brass Marvers are available for the:

Cricket, Bobcat, Lynx, Cheetah, Scorpion, Phantom, Minor, Mega Minor, Minnow, Betta and the Barracuda.

Thanks again.

Here are the promised photos of my torches with their burning brass marvers.

This is the Cuda. You can see a small black tab on the left of the marver. That's a custom hand steady Jim added to it for me. Works great. So far the marver has not gotten hot enough to burn me. I think it is because it is not actually touching the torch so the is no heat transfer. My last torch mount marver got screaming hot! You can also see that Jim has replaced the support bracket with a custom one in order to fit this marver to it. I actually like it better than the one the Barracuda came with.

And here is the Phantom with me putting the Mojo to a marble!
