Default Experimental Glass from Paul Trautman??

Anyone try the new experimental TAG glass? I can't remember the name of it...Paula had it up on Flamedame but she only had 5 lbs of it. I can't look on her website though...she's out of town so I can't navigate around and find the name of the color. Well, all I have to say is...

WHERE HAS THIS GLASS BEEN ALL MY LIFE????

Amazing. Just amazing. I bought a pound, I think. Lucky me!

Dalai Lotus?
If that's what you are talking about-yes it's awesome!

Frantz has it in stock now too. http://www.frantzartglass.com/index....rd=dalai+lotus

All the TAG glass is so fun. I scored shorts about a year ago when Paula had them....they also make Taxco--my favorite next to Terra! (and Taxco works fantastic on a hothead if you happen to be using one--I'm on a bigger torch now, but it's a really nice reduction glass, so....)

Fire lotus is also one of the new ones and it works up with fantastic, fuchsias and blues and purples,
we have exclusive on it at Kiss My Glass in Santa Cruz because Jenny was at the store teaching last week. And by the way her class was fantastic. I heard Polly of dragon art glass posted some fabulous photos of it . I am looking for those now.

Hi Dragon - nice to talk to you today! You will be happy to find that the Fire Lotus and the Dalai Lotus are now included in every sample pack, they are no longer experimental but are regular colors for us now.

Wish I knew more about how to handle fire lotus. I've burned through 3 rods and still am having problems. Any one know any hints for this? I seriously need to find a class next year that Jenny is teaching.

Even though we are closed down to move I still have TAG and Double Helix for sale and not packed up yet. As a matter of fact I think I have a new experimental on the way!

Glasslass2. Fire Lotus....get it screaming hot and let it cool until you almost think it will pop off the mandrel. Then slowly warm it up to strike.
