Default Annealing schedule- Paragon Kiln- Need help

I am trying to program my paragon (ceramic fiber jewelry kiln) to do the following schedule, but half way thru I mess it up. Can anyone help me do this right? It has a bunch of stuff in the manual about ramp holding etc. and by the time I think I have figured it out something goes wrong. My other program was good for small beads, but I worry about the larger beads cooling down too fast.

Here is what I'm trying to get:

Hold at 965 for 1 hour after last bead is put into kiln
Reduce at 100 degrees per hour to 800 degrees
Hold for 1 hour
Reduce at 300 degrees to 400 degrees
hold for 10 minutes
Turn off

If you PM me your mailing address, I'll copy my portion of my User's Guide for ramp up, hold, ramp down and skip portions for using the Sentry Controller for Paragon Kilns and mail it to ya if you'd like.

Thanks everyone-
Katherine- I'll try that but I'm pretty sure I'm not pushing the right buttons when I'm supposed to. I hope your ankle is just hurt and not broke!!!

DeAnn- I sent you my addy. Thank you!

It is so nice to have help at your fingertips! If I can do anything in return, just let me know!!

Buttons to push - ok here we go:

the left button - press it until you see the current prog # displayed. If you want to use a different prog # then press the 2nd button until you see the prog # you wish to use - for example 'prog4'

Once you are at the prog # you want then:
pressing the 1st button moves you through all the ramps and the ramps choices
when you want to change one of the choices then the 2nd and 3rd buttons up and down arrows can be pressed to take you to the number you want. When the number you want is displayed then go back to pressing the 1st button to move to your next choice.

In my reply earlier I typed your choices in paragon requirements.

I hope this makes some sense.

Good Luck!

Got it! I'll copy and mail it in the next day or so, ok?

And if you've not seen this yet, it was a HUGE help to me, too! Just to see someone actually DOING it! http://technorati.com/videos/youtube...%3DQyJc0tiwi1Y

Just wondering if you got the copies of what I sent you in the mail yet...and if they helped, of course!

Let us know how you're doing...getting to know a controller can be a little frustrating at the beginning, but if yours is working correctly and you get it programed right, it's an awesome tool!

Hi DeAnne- No not yet. They should make it here soon. I wanted to do some big beads (Impatient!) and Ann Royer helped me get the kiln up and running to what it should be. Of course I don't know that if I lose that program in my kiln by accident that I could recreate it without help, so your written directions will still come in handy!! Thanks so much for taking the time to do it!! If I can do anything in return, please let me know- Renee

Is this the three button controller? I have a cheat sheet that I use, because I lose track a little while I am pushing the buttons. I will be glad to scan and email it to you, if you can confirm that you are programming the Orton Sentry three button controller. Thanks!
