Shard Picture Chart and Where to buy Shards
Hi Eveyone,
I orginally posted this in the gallery and someone suggested I also add it here and I hope you find it helpful.
Below are pictures of some test shard beads on a base of black. The size is a 21mm slim sided lentil. I added an abbreviation to the picture names in case you wanted to know where I bought the shards. I really like the one made with double helix psyche base(not black like the others) and then reduced, and the clear shard on top. It's near the bottom of the chart PLD12.

Wow that was cool for you to do. Your beads are awesome and really show the shards well.
I haven't really worked with shards too much but now maybe I should!

Wow Ansley, you've been a busy little shardstress That is a great catalog of shards you've put together.

Hi Joe!
Thanks and I really love the results I am getting from your shards I'm working on a nugget shape and mostly melted in and swirls. One of my faviorites is Black Nebula. Last night I did a nugget shape with a dark blue transparent base T-056 with some Black Nebula shards, melted in and added some swirls. I also did a nugget with cobalt transparent T-060 base with some Psyche shards and reduced, oxidized, reduced (brings out the oil slick effect - from Kim Neely's tutorial). I will be making sets out of these two for sure!
I see you offer clear shards which I love using over reducing silver glass. So beautiful!!!
Thanks for your shards!
