Default Pokie Pliers - Bails made easy

Make bails on your pendants easily with the Pokie Pliers.

To make a bail, simply add a small gather of glass and heat it. Then, using the pliers you simply squeeze where you want the hole to be. As the glass cools, rotate the pliers slightly and you're done. You can ream to size based on how large you want the hole.

They are $12.00 on my site, but I'm offering them for $10 + shipping for a limited time. Shipping is $1.75 (US First Class Mail, CONUS)

Default How to use

A couple people have written me to ask how these are used. For those of you that use handy andy's or peter tweezers, these are similar. I like these better though because they allow me to create the hole in one step. When I used peter tweezers I would have to then go to a tungsten pick, then a reamer. Now, I skip all of that and only go to the reamer if I want the hole larger.

In the pendant below, I added a small gather of glass to the outside of the pendant. With the gather still warm, I used the pliers to squeeze and create the hole through the bail.

Fire polish the bail and you're done......I hope that helps make it more clear for those that were wanting a picture.

I actually made the same thing. It works like a dream. To me, this is the best tool for bails.
