Santa glass? HELP!!
I have several rods marked Santa red. They aren't compatible with 104 coe. Does anyone know where I purchased these? I can't find a supplier anywhere! I've only had them for less than a year. Gorgeous color! Help!!!

CiM used to make a CoE 96 red glass called St. Nick.

No, this was clearly marked "santa". Very beautiful red! I have looked at receipts and gone through every website I can think of! Cannot imagine where I got it. I even checked boro colors!

Were they perhaps an unmarked "Secret Santa" gift? That'd explain not finding the name out there anywhere.

I checked CiM 96, and the color wasn't listed. I haven't ever participated in a secret santa, so I don't think that's it...arghhhh. It must have come in a sampler...but WHOSE??If only I could find the stub of what's left I could shoot a pic for everyone to see! Now it looks as though I am hallucinating!
If I were going to hallucinate, it would have to be about something much more freaky than this stick of glass!!
The problem: It is the most saturated intense fire engine red I have ever had my hands on. No fading out against white, no color shifting. Very nice glass...

Can't help with the "Santa", but ASK had a red called "Scarlet", that you can probably find in its Kugler incarnation, that didn't fade, or shift, even when used as hair thin stringers.

That really sounds like St Nick to me. CIM isn't doing 96 anymore <sob> but Frantz still sells it (I just bought more, tra-la!). Might want to take a look on their site and see if it at least looks like it matches. It's a gorgeous red.

I just bought some as well! Go to Frantz and do a search for 96COE. It will come up. It is 65% off right now, and they don't have much left. It does sound like St. Nick and it is a beautiful opaque red! Susan

I tried some Lipstick. But it wants to fade into the white and lose the crisp edges. Gets an orange shade in the margins. Darnit!

The ASK was 'Scarlet Dreams' and the Kugler equivalent is B-69 Coral Red. I just bought more of it from Hot Glass Color because I adore that red. I did some test beadies and I couldn't tell the difference between the Kugler and the ASK. Same shade, acts the same. Here's what it looks like (from the beadroller thread, apologies for the repeat - I'm too lazy to take more pics):
