CIM Tuxedo - Encasing

Hi All...

Has anyone been experiencing thermal shock type cracking (along the mandrel) when encasing CIM Tuxedo?

I have been encasing with Reichenbach Kristall and seem to be having a problem. I'm keeping the bead very very warm/hot so I don't think that is the issue. I do feel that Tuxedo is very stiff and wonder if there may be a compatibility problem with the clear or perhaps it doesn't like to be pressed in a button press?

Any ideas or comments?

I have one batch of Tuxedo that is very shocky. I don't remember if I have encased any of it. Try a different clear perhaps and see if it still happens.
