Moody Blue....got it's name because it reminded me of a mood ring or bead, color your bead according to your mood. It's is truly the most amazing silver glass that I have tried. I LOVE it and the fact that it is so easy to reduce, and the different colors it will produce is icing on the cake. Looks beautiful encased too.
Can't wait for the next color Donna.

Purple...and yep, I make it
I finally decided it was time to put my mind to starting my own glass line. I have been dinking around and studying glass chemistry for over 20 years. When I started doing pate de verre in the 80's I had to make my own glass - super low melting temperature - so the mold might survive the firing. I have been working on 104 COE glass obsessively sine July - I have about 8 colors to come out with, but I need to get all the equipment set up to do it.
The next color out will be Purplescent - and new purple that in reduction has the look of a rainbow you get with oil on water. The purple will be available too without the reduction effect, so you just get a really pretty royal purple.
The other color that will come out as soon as I can get it set up is black - a black you can pull down to the size of a hair and it stays black black black and doesn't spread.
I will keep you all posted on when these colors will be available - thanks so much for all of your encouragement! I am over the moon happy with being able to do something I have wanted to do for sooooo long!
