This workshop is designed for the experienced beadmaker who would like to improve their skills at the torch. In this class students will work on specific techniques and “tasks” in beadmaking-- yes-dots!, manipulating stringers, clear casing, working large beads, and various surface decorations. The goal of the class is to have each student develop better hand-eye control, spacing, and overall flame control when applying decoration to beads.
Kristina, known as the “Dot Queen”, will break down into well-explained detail how she achieves her recognizable precision. She will carefully describe how she works at the torch. Kristina has helped many students improve the quality of their beadmaking and overall beadmaking skills throughout her 20 years of teaching.
