Help me decide which CG roller to buy please!!
Arrgghh, I just can't decide which CG roller to buy from Donna and it is driving me nuts. This indecision has gone on for weeks. I am a relative newbie and have not tried a roller so although I love about 5 or 6 of them, I think I should start small and try one. But which one? Here are my choices...
Small Round 3/32
Small Round Pandora
Small Donut 3/32
Small Donut Pandora
And eventually I want the ribbed versions of these.
I have read on her site that you can use the Pandora small round for 3/32" mandrels and you just end up having a bit of "wiggle" room. Have any of you done this? Does this "wiggle" room affect your beads?
I'm in Canada and so the shipping will also be higher so I am torn as to whether or not I should buy two at a time?
Can any of you lend some wisdom please?

Of all the beadrollers I have, I use the regular small round one the most!

I've used smaller mandrels in the bigger mandrel sized rollers, but was not happy with how they turned out. I would get the mandrel size you intend to work with.
I don't work small and find I use the pandora rollers the most as my pandora beads tend to grow and the rollers help me keep to a reasonable size.
Actually I think the garden variety is a good one to start with. Nice shapes to try.

I'm eager to see some thoughts on this. I'm not a newbie, but have never tried the cg beadrollers. Lately I keep going to her website, and looking, and thinking about buying one. I'm most drawn to the donut pandora. I hope you get lots of comments- 'cause that will help me make some decisions too!

I had similar problems making up my mind, so I can definitely relate! I bought a ribbed round roller first and love it. I thought I knew which ones I'd like next, but then I splurged and got one of the anniversary samplers, and my wish list has really changed. I had no interest in barrels before, but now I find that I love to make short barrels! And I'm enjoying the variety of tabs I can get by flattening the various shapes, or using them with presses. So the combo has been a great thing for me.

I use my pandora donut roller all of the time (It's the only way I can make consistent sized sets).
My favorite roller ever is the ribbed quint. It has 5 different shapes. They all are sized to go with each other. It is a really fun one to play with.

LOL Ladies, you are really helping me to know that I want all of these rollers!!
Actually, the sampler is a good idea - I'll head over to see what she has. And I like the advice from SadiesJewels (Sadie?) to get the size of the mandrel I will be working most with. Sound advice.
Glad to see some of you have the same indecisions that I do! LOL
EDIT to add:
I did it, I did it! Thanks ladies - I went ahead and ended up ordering three! LOL It just made sense with her discount and the cost of shipping to Canada! You all helped so much thanks! Oh, almost forgot to say what I ordered - I got the small round, the ribbed round and the donut spacers!

The pandora disk and round are my two fav's, good luck with your choice, I don't think you could be disappointed in any of them.

All of them. Seriously lol. That's my plan anyway.
I currently have the one that has the small barrel, the disc (my favorite shape so far) the ovals and the round in one roller, and I also have the ribbed version of that. I love them both and am eager to acquire more of her rollers.
And what great idea to mash them!

I have the original sampler and found the ends on some of them are harder to learn. I think the rounds would be easier. Maybe I give up too easy too?

Oh and Donna mailed them the next day!! Now only have to wait three or four weeks for them to make it through Canadian customs! I'm happy that you all love them - I never thought of using the ribbed and then just melting them back in! Thanks for all the positives ladies!!
